I had the misfortune of buying a Rhino, Chinese tractor, a few years back. It need PS, badly (among many other needs), but an empty pocketbook was my constant companion, back then. It had an empty pulley slot, on the crank pulley, so I draped a belt over the pulley, and attached a saginaw pump, and reservoir, off'n an old chrysler, I believe. Then I went to the junkyard, and got a power steering selector valve, and cylinder off'n a '70 ford torino, I believe. I cut the steering drag link, and plumbed in the selector valve, then cut and welded the tie rod, to fit in the assist cylinder, then added hoses, cause it won't work wifout 'em. all told, I think I was out $ 300 for parts, and about 40 hours of labor. Tractor is still a rolling junkpile, but it has PS!
