Look inside a tank on an old diesel tractor, our Case IH parts guy said they are seeing more of it. I know of 4 - 400 Cases with this problem. No one seems to know what causes it. Mine was full 3 inches from the top but from the bottom up 6 inches it was rusted. We have to sandblast the inside of the tank then use Red Kote.I had regular diesel in mine,one of the other may have had biodiesel in it.
