I've got a 98 model 8260 New Holland tractor, when i bought it in may a light on the dash was blinking, but the tractor ran and operated fine. I found out that the blinking light meant the charge pump pressure was low, well the past 2 weeks its done something strange, every now and then, i'll stop the tractor for a few minutes, start it up again and the lift or hydraulics won't work, i can turn it off again, let it set 10 minutes and it will work fine, the filters have been changed and the oil is a full level, i'm wondering, is the charge pump maybe starting to go bad or something else?? Just seeing if anyone on here has experience with one of these tractors and might know what to do next.
