Boy wants me to start finding parts for his 1951 Chev pick up so we can put a built 250-6 in it. Looking for some of the old hot rod stuff you could get for them back in the 60s like the extra long intake and the dual exhaust. Plus things like the wiper motor that does not run off vacuum. When done this should have a 4 speed and maybe either an Aux tranny or an over drive to help[ with the mileage on it. Also going with a 3/4 ton rear end so we can beef it up for pulling a camper behind it. Ya I know your going to say why not put a 350 in but he does not want a V-8 and I have this 250 here that I built years ago and has less then 3000 mile on it since built. So any body have an ideas where to find some of the old type performance parts for that engine?? Thanks. Boy will be back home next Sept. and hopes by then that I will have all the parts and maybe part way done build this for him
