I live outside of SF now also, wife claimed we need to move for the schools. I can't answer your questions about plow days but there is plenty of old tractor stuff going on in the east bay. Vacaville has a annual event with old tractors, trip plows, steam threashers, horse teams, dump rakes ect. San Ramon Historic Foundation has a old farm and a bunch of great volunteer guys that fund raise $, buy and fix old tractors of all colors, and argue forever about what is best. I am sure the north and south bay have something goin on also. There is no west bay.
