I wound up with both a Stihl and Husqvarna, both from the old days, early 1990s ha, and they both have given good service. The local Stihl dealer stocks more stuff and has a better shop but really few things are needed except chains and bars. I tend to like the Husquvarna a little better because I can put it down and move brush and it will idle it's little heart out for any length of time where the Stihl sometimes just quits when idling when it feels like it.
