Every few years, seems like I'm rebuilding another one of these darned office machines.
Don't really know what happened, but two or three weeks ago, woke to this one being dead one morning, so ran into town and bought one of those cheap little Dells to get by until the parts arrived for this one.
Evidence of an electrical short inside the case beside the power supply. Whatever caused it took out the supply and the motherboard.
Replaced both those items along with the processor for good meausure and upgraded the memory. Also bought a backup external drive while I was at it. :>(
Anyway, she's up and going again. Hardest part was getting by microsoft to acknowledge that new motherboard ID. :>)
