The first thing I would do before I signed the papers would have the dealership change the tires. I know this because I have put 95K on a 2006 Escape and 112K on a 2008 Escape. The Continental tires all started cupping in the inside. They said I was carry excessive weight. The only thing I hauled was a suitcase. Once the tires started cupping, the road noise was unbearable. I had to pull over to be able to listen to a phone call. I changed to Goodyear tires and I had co-workers change to Michelin and the tire problems went away. So, personal experience here.
