I had left the park lights on and would have had a dead battery in the A.M. Now,to my answer. My subaru has a camshaft sensor on the left side cam. If there is one on the crankshaft, [and I don"t know if there is] the computer could compare the inputs and possibly determine a misfire.All this said, I agree with everyone that you are off on your timing marks.
