We have tore up alot of that stuff with a diamond grinder, and put down a real expensive stuff.
The materials for a two and a half stall garage was around $3,500.00 for the materials alone. This stuff looks like glass forever.
It's not for everyone, if you don't go with the good stuff, why not just use a good paint, and touch it up every six months or so.
Rustolum makes a paint, then add chips. It comes in alot of different lables, but the sixty five dollar a gallon stuff, just doesn't stay on for long.
You will probably get what you pay for it. We never want to spend the money the first time, and often that is the only way a person can afford to do it with most incomes.
We did a expensive one about a year ago. It cost alot of money to do it, and looks great. However at that price his wife placed cardboard and rugs to the point you can not see----ANY--of the floor.
