I had one of the first Cannon zoom cameras. Ate up batteries fast and to big to put in pocket. Second was a Vivitar, worked good until it crapped out. I now have a Cannon Power Shot A470. Got at Wal-Mart for around $100. Uses two Lithium AA batteries and they last half the summer. I mostly take videos at tractor pulls. Screen is hard to see in bright light to see if I have pushed the right button to turn on video. I have missed a few pulls and received a lot of flack. The operator could be improved. They all probably have improved since I got mine. Battery life is very important to me and this one passes the test.
