And the same money if not a little less. Been having fits with the powers that be over 2 small leanto type shelters I built for the horses. Tried steering away from the portable approach until I saw one at a show a few years ago and thought to give it a try sometime. FF to last week when we got an email with a special offer on the tent and grass pavers (lack of better words) and figured it was too good to pass up. Anyway, the buildings I built meant drawing a sketch, taking it to the sawmill in town, was told what I needed (dimensions) and a package (rough measured) loaded on a trailer for me to pick up, cut to size, and build. Then order metal roof and wrestle with it (I work alone). Then worry about the footing for the area. (3-4 week project easy).
Stuff came the other day, guy drove 30ft from where I needed the stuff and helped unload it (20 minutes), yesterday morning, done the "floor" with the pavers which consisted of running a lawnmower over the area then raking it to smooth out some tire tracks (top inch or so is pretty soft when you drive on it). Half hour to lay out a 13x30ft area, couple hours to set up the tent, and the rest of the day filling the pavers with 3 ton of crushed limestone (6 trips for half ton loads and doing the wheelbarrow transfer. Tired but done. Electric tape (fence) for the place Monday and ready to use. Wish I would have done it years ago.... Pics are not of my project, just what I used.
