A paper trail with the 4473 sheet and a registered firearm are 2 different things.
A registered firearm means the police have records in your police local station. The 4473 sheet has a stack of sold firearms in a store where you purchased the gun. I still think that the 4473 sheet is BS for long guns.
I dont allow the media to scare me into my decision making. Crimes are committed everywhere, this is true but......In my area of Michigan banks are not robbed, a few homes are broke into and people are not carjacked. I am not a paranoid with my hand on the trigger and the hammer cocked. I trust my Remington 870 pump 12 gauge to take care of business if need be at home.
