I have really been debating with my self on getting a hand gun and a carry permit. I do have several shotguns and 22 rifles at home I keep in the house and barn. I too live in Mi. and I even was working in Pontiac when I retired. I travel in my fifth wheel camper some with my wife and on my motorcycle by my self. My friend in Tn. carries and has a book he carries when traveling with the laws regarding carrying a gun in each state. I just get a little nervous when staying at a motel by my self or camping in a rest area, walmrt parking lot or what ever when in our camper. My main reason for not getting one yet is my bad temper and the fear of me being a little to quick to want to use a gun if I had it. I have never been in any legal trouble as a result of my temper but just not sure if I can trust myself.
