I'm not against guns, I'm not against someone having a small gun with them so don't start bashing me, ok. All I'm saying is that I worry about the false security having the gun can give a person. I know in many cases people can talk the talk but when it comes right down to it can't walk the walk. Even if you are walking around with a loaded gun in your hand ready to shoot does not mean you will shoot and that puts you in more danger. If there is any doubt at all in your mind about shooting to kill, that can get you killed as fast if not faster then not having a gun. Several years ago a guy pulled a pistol on me, pointed it directly at my face. I took the pistol off of him. My brother had a simular circumstance happen to him and he disarmed two guys. If you would have ask me before that happen I would have said, boy I don't know what I would do if some guy pulled a gun on me. Point being till it happens you don't know how you would react so does having a gun on you save you ? There are police officers injured and killed every day that carry and are highly trained. I don't know what the answer is, only know you better be able to walk the walk. Do I carry a gun on a regular basis, no I don't. Now have I carried a gun at times, yes. Would I use it if need be, yes in a heart beat and it would be shoot to kill.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
