I teach the class for Michigan concealed carry. Not a big deal, just average ordinary citizens getting permits. We have had no probs. in our state since becoming shall issue in 2001, before that starting in 1927 county gun boards were allowed to be discreationary on issueing permits. I have had at one student use his gun to save his life while some one tried to kill him at a gas station, he shot the guy 3 times with a .45 after giving the guy his wallet the robber was going to kill him anyways. Did not kill the guy but the guy will be peeing out of a bag the rest of his live and is now in prison, I was pround that my student was carrying and took a thug off the streets.
