Any 235/85-16" load-range E that I can buy for $50 or less (used). I'm not picky, and will never pay the $150 and up many places are charging for new truck tires. Good tread and no dry-rot is all I ask for.
Around here, Cooper are the most common.
I've got four trucks that use that size, and I'd go broke if I kept buying new.
I have my trucks basically for hauling, not to be driven like sports-cars. That being said, I've had many brands on my Ford F250 and my Dodge W250. Cooper, Kelley, Michelin, etc. All rode the same on highway runs as far as I could feel, but some had better traction then others.
235/85-16" have been very scarce lately and when listed for sale use - are gone almost instantly.
