I remember things like what you described with the two transmissions, don't know what they were used for. We all had some things we should have kept, but back then about all they were worth is scrap iron. Some of my things I should have kept were a 48 Chrylser New Yorker with a straight 8, then there was my dodge with the flyuid drive trans, don't remember the year. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
