This may sound strange but try putting some Ben-Gay or other type of muscle relief cream on it ((I only use the BG regardless of the smell but figure any type would probably work)). I don"t remember how I made the "discovery" but I figured out years ago that the heat from heating action does something to help the pain somewhat and also stimulates blood flow to the area to help make the bruising go away. No guarantees on it working for something that bad but when your in pain anything is worth a shot...
