I wasnt sure where to post this but I thought someone here might be able to help me. We have an older New Holland skid steer model 775 with a Wisconsin v465 gas engine. The engine is only about 3 years old.past warranty,It still runs great with a lot of power.Heres the problem. About a month ago it started burnung oil. I mean smoking blue terrible. I had a machanic look at it and he said the oil rings are probably shot and I could run it untill he gets time to work on it, just keep an eye on the oil level. This was ok untill last week. Then I started blowing apart the inside of the oil filters! Ive never heard of this before! the first one lasted about 5 hrs. 2nd one about 3 hrs and the last one about 5 mins. What causes this? It has no odd noises in the engine. runs good and strong. Anyone have the anwer? has anyone heard of this before? Thanks Doug
