At about 1000 acres of corn/year. We usually get at least three jackets and several hats each year. Dad got the same with about 350 acres of corn each year. This is from Pioneer and he does buy some soybean seed from them too. They usually are good for at least one meal per year at a field day if not a bought lunch at a restaurant. They help put in a test plot, usually providing free seed, and bring a weigh-wagon in the fall. He does buy some Dupont chemicals, especially Asana but not may. Dekalb, Asgrow, and Montsanto don't do very much and they get a pretty large percentage of acres too. Like the other guy said, you pay for it. I never remember him getting much over 6 bags of seed. Its definitely not free. This is all in the South. I figure you guys in better farming country get a few more perks than we do.
