Well, after these envriomental fenatics have to turn their plush lawns into weed laiden garden plots to survive, and put whats left of our american farmers out of business, they will change their tune. All life depends on food production. They think that"organic/natural" food production is healthier. I hope these people can learn to turn a stalk of fox tail or pigweed or nutsage into a healthy satisfying meal. Our big food scares with crops such as spinich came from organic contamination, not chemicals. A side note to this. Our local news reported last night that the NY DOT was going to start adding beet juice to their salt applications to prevent roads from freezing. It was reported that it would reduce salt expenditures by up to 20%, plus it was enviromentally friendly. They didn't state whether it was Red beets or Sugar beets. Perhaps next spring we will all be driving pink cars here in NY. I view it as simular to corn for fuel, or, corn for food. We need both, and weeds produce neither.
