I guess some people will complain if ya hang em with a new rope.
I remember paying nearly $4.50 for diesel about 2 years ago..
You apparently can't live without fuel, so stop whining and crying.. or buy a bicycle.. a hundred dollar investment will save you a lot of money.. But then what would some people have to whine about?
As an example, an older gentleman friend has a bicycle that he rides around his town.. has done so for about 5 years, and his added on speedo/odometer reads about 3000 miles... so lets say your truck gets 15 MPG.. that's 200 gallons of fuel, and we'll call a average of 2.75 a gallon for fuel over the 5 years.. That's $550.. but I know he has bought 2 inner tubes and tires, so we'll just say it cost him $50 for repairs.. So he's still $400 ahead.. And not that he's a big guy (like myself), but he's also lost 50 pounds just in the last 2 years..
We won't even get into the wear and tear saved on the truck, 3k is a oil change on a gas truck (halfway on a diesel) The pollution that was not created..
I guess my advice is buy a electric car, bicycle, walk or just quit whining..

As long as a pool was at the end of our destination she was easy to please unlike the other two who have a multitude of requirements to travel with mom and dad. Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
