Hopefully, come spring we will be ready to build my new shop at the new place. Starting to plan for it, figure something like 40'x50' with 3 rooms/bays. Metal roof and exterior walls. Can buy the metal at the fabrication shop about 20 miles from my site, made to order, custom cut to length.
Room/Bay #1 will be my shop, 26' x 40', insulated, roll up 10' door. Nothing fancy but will want to heat it in the winter to allow me to work my projects.
Room/Bay #2 will be my shed, 12x 40', roll up door 10', no climate control, tractor storage, lawn mower etc...
Room/Bay #3 my party/ man cave. 12'x40' French doors open to outside, Clean room, nice floor, sheet rocked, couch, frig, etc. Bathroom. My motorcycle collection, memorabilia..... your all invited to parties in there someday!
So decision is what kind of construction to use for the building. Looking at pole barns, steel buildings ect.. They all go up quick and cheap, however then require extensive work to finnish the inside as the framing does not provide for a finished interior. 2/3's of my building is planned for finished inside. Hang sheetrock, ceilings etc..
I'm wondering if I'm better off just building a standard stick built building, that leaves me with a structure on the inside that is prepped for inside finnishing, insulation sheetrock etc.. Use standard 2x4 and 2x6 framing, with trusses.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
