I know a dude that will not alow any government folks on his land. Oh yes this is true, he will point a gun at them, and tell them he has nothing to loose as he is old and thinks he is dying anyway.
Somehow government officials can understand him, and hear him real good. I have only seen him in action a few times, once he had seven deer in his pickup, (not a single tag) and the DNR man opened the gate, and leaned on the tailgait for a chit chat ---still not a problem if a guy will shoot you.
The cops know where he livews, and all remember his name, and warnings--they overlook his issues.
He will do anything for anybody, but if you have government plates on your vehickle, you best be just turning around.
I do not agree with him always, but you never have to wonder if he will give in or not. Also you never have to wonder what his opinion will be.
In this case, I'm not so sure he is harming anyone, but it seems men simply like to have power over another man---it is a weakness we all must probably have.
