My son is doing that very same thing, he has built a 42 X 72 pole barn. D and L const co. local. 35000 with a partition wall making a 24 X 42 apartment. Sprayed it with closed cell foam, everywhere. Taxes here are cheap on this type of const. My daughter did the same thing only their apartment was 22 X 36. of a 62 ft building. They lived there 5 yrs with 2 girls. till their house was finished. PS they put their washer and dryer in the shop part and there extra clothes and such.
