I've got three now, with "John Deere" names on them. CS56 models. I absolutely love them. Very rugged, and if you buy right - you'll get much more saw for the dollar then you'll ever get from Stihl. Even if paying full retail, right now you'll get more for your money from Efco and Dolmar, then from Stihl.
Any recent Efco that's 56 ccs or bigger is a pro-saw. Efco is one of the most popular pro-saws in Italy and a few other regions in Europe. They used to market some versions as "Olympyk" but got sued by the Olympics Committee and dropped the name. Now sold as Efco or Oleo-Mac.
When Deere quit putting their brand-name on saws last year, many dealers were selling CS56 saws for less then $300 - with a 20" bar. Metal crankcase, full ball bearing mains, metal bar cover, compression release, lifetime warranty on ignition, 2 year complete saw warranty, etc. And, Deere parts support.
