Fed Chairman Berneke said on Sunday that he's ready for QE3, more money printing.
Many of you don't know this, but after the first QE, (which stands for Quantitative Easing, or in other words, print more money), the Chinese were very angry. They know that the more dollars we print, the less their T-Bills are worth. Many economists have said since 2008 that the only way to pay our debts to the Red Chinese is by inflating our currency. They seem right.
But anyway, back to QE 1, 2, and 3. Just after the first one, North Korea sank a South Korean ship, killed 45 sailors. We did nothing. Many think this was China telling us to stop it. After QE 2, just a month ago, a Chinese Dong II missile was fired 30 miles off the coast of California. How this is not the biggest story of the year is beyond me. Can anyone imagine what would've happened had the Soviets fired a missile 30 miles off our coast back in the '80's. But now our government is too weak to even admit that it happened.
