I have done a few my self. Latest was put 5 gal of gas in my JD 401, which was a 4 cyl. diesel and ran it for 2 hrs. mowing. The tank had about 2 gal of diesel when the gas was put in. It started missing I thought it was a bad injector. That is when I found my mistake. The tractor still runs ok after flushing the system. Another goof up I replaced the head gasket on my MF with a perkins diesel. I put a rag over the intake to keep the intake clean, and forgot to remove it. It ran good until I gave it more throttle, and it sucked the rag in. It didn't seam to hurt anything, but it did run rough for a short time, until it spit out the rag. I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
