"anybody here" that would include me... I hope the county snowplows maintain their speed and don't alter their blade settings in any way when going past my driveway.. The county guys know how to move snow.. I appreciate "OUR" well maintained county roads. Their good work on the county road does little to hamper my effort to clear my driveway or crossing... Their equipment usually sends the snow flying off the road.. Then I use a blower, so there are no ridges, anywhere, to catch the next snowfall.... Pure teamwork..
However, there is a different type of "problem" amongst my neighbors.. There are six of us close by that have good snow moving equipment.. Many mornings I have gotten up after a snowstorm and looked out my front window,,,to see a CLEAN driveway!! Now, who do I thank for that?? I just return the favors to all and don't keep score...
If a custom operator came in to do the work, I would definitely expect to pay..That is their living..
Sure is nice to live in God's Country..., where we don't have cheapo, naughty old ladies with snow shovels.
