: Hi: I have a Farmall BN that has some parts of a vacuum lift on the side of the engine. It is not all there. I would like to get this working. Does anyone know how they work or have a book with a picture on what they look like & how they get hooked up. Also where you can buy parts. : THANKS!! for any help. Larry Larry, very simple. A valve assembly in the exhaust manifold diverted by a shutter to a control valve bolted to the head on the right rear of the engine via a pipe. From there a hose to the base of the lift cylinder. The piston in the lifyt cylinder goes up reacting to the pressure of the exhaust. I have the diagrams and alot of parts. Let me know what you want. Curt
