From 1980-1986, our co-op grain elevator sponsored trips to the Twin Cities to watch a football game. The first 2 years, 1980 and 1981, they were outside at the old stadium. The rest were at the dome. Personally I enjoyed the dome more. Alot more comfortable as a specator. I guess if the games that we went to would have been in September, it would have been okay to sit outside, but due to everybody's farm work, we had to go to the December games. I don't think I would ever plan to go to a Twins game now that they are outside. Just don't want to drive 500+ miles and then have a chance of a rainout.
