Im unsure but if those are the 7/8 plugs I'm thinking of, I have best luck with Autolite 3077 which are the hotter deep reach side wire electrode plugs that are hotter then the Autolite 3076 which was close in heat range to the original plugs. ITS THE ONLY PLUGS I RUN IN MY 38 UNSTYLED B OR OTHER OLDER 7/8 PLUGS FOR UNSTYLED DEERES and its indeed better for parades and light duty use as you heard. The Autolite 3077 (if it uses the 7/8 plug) are avaialble at NAPA.
It also helps reduce fouling if you keep the temp up to 180 and over,,,,,dont run the carb any richer then necessary,,,,,,,use wire core plug wires.
NOTE Im pretty sure you dont use the later 18 mm plugs like Autolite 386 or 388 or 3116 non resistor. Some very old Deeres like some D's and GP's etc used pipe thread plugs
