I'm not much help with how to post, but if I read correctly you are also wondering who out here might call themselves musicians (or at least hang out with musicians from time to time).
I guess I would fall in the musician category. I've been teaching orchestra to some wonderful public school youngsters for the last 10 years or so in TX and KS. I Began playing violin when I was 8 (26 years, wow, I haven't counted in a while). I always wanted to play other instruments too, but Dad said I had to master the violin first and then he would buy me something else. I guess I haven't mastered it yet!
I play in the Salina Symphony Orchestra to keep my skills up. I enjoy the "old-time" music of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven as well as Bluegrass and Jazz. I'll listen to just about anything once.
This forum always reminds me of the guys drinking coffee at the gas station in just about any small town one might stop in. I've always wanted to sit down with a cup of coffee and learn what I can from those folks, but of course never had the gall to actually try to invite my way into one of their conversations. Here I can listen and learn without interfering and dream of one day owning a little land to go with my recently inherited tractor.
I enjoy listening to your music. Keep up the good work! I'm not much help with tractors, but if you need a fiddle player, let me know.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
