8N carb trouble, HELP!

I recently borrowed my sister's 8N with the offer of getting it running after 3 years field storage.
The carb was hopelessly gummed with green gas and after much soaking I managed to remove most parts.
The problem I ran into was when removing the main jet tube it was so corroded by the bad gas that it literally fell out leaving half the tube in the hole. I have very gingerly drilled out and retapped the tube hole but I think there is another jet seated under there. What I was hoping is that someone could tell me can I drill through it as well? Is it the same outside diameter as the jet tube? Any really good ideas? I contacted one tractor place here in Canada and they want $241 for a new carb!!! Any help appreciated, Thanks.
The carb model is a TSX241B with two adjustments.
