If it is related to the mains, torque them down one at a time, then spin the crank. Remember to torque individual cap bolts alternately creeping up on the torque. If torque is say 75 foot lbs. torque 25--25 then 50-50 then 75--75. Then spin the crank. Should spin like it's in butter. Any issues with the old main bearings? Mains and rods are aligned bored and honed which means they have the exact same centerline. As Bob stated they MUST be put back in the same spot facing the same way. If you are not CERTAIN of this take the block to a machine shop and have them align hone the main saddle. It will be money well spent. Hope this helps. Gerard
