i hope in not in the same boat i ordered points and condenser for my cub as it has the same problem, when its above 55 it fires right up and runs like a top, below 50 it will not start, it will pop once in awhile but will not start, i can walk away, change nothing , and when it warms up a little it will fire right up, its got me bugged as i wanted to play with its snow blade this winter lol, from what ive read in the archives if its not worn out like yours is the most common cause of no start in the cold is the mag points out of adjustment or burned, it has gas fuel is not the problem
