Hi TD! Merry christmas!! I am near Roy Wa, which is about 18 miles north and east of Olympia. Roy's big claim to fame is the two Roy Rodeo's they have each summer. I guess they are part of the circuit that the riders pursue each yr. It is about as big as it's name, blink and you are out of town! A true speed trap, of the southern sterotype! Got there own court and all! It has been around 45 deg, and rainy for the last two weeks, some nights it gets cold, and we end up with black ice . Most of our rual roads are blacktop, and look just wet, even with ice on them. last tue I was going out to a friends farm around noon, and saw an aproching jeep cherokee, lose it and flip, then continue down the center line on his top, right towards me, being as he had 1/2 of my lane I went on the shoulder, but he came to a halt before he reached me. Wasted an hour there helping and waiting on emergency people. I am from west central Illinois, been out here 30 yr;s and still don't like the rainy weather. If I didn't own this little place, I would back to Pike Co., but am too old to start over. Have a great holliday, and remember why we have Christmas! RALPH
