Well, the wife and I did the Christmas thing with the family yesterday. We all got together, at youngest son's house, including our daughter, my dad and step mom. a good time had by all. Today, wifey and I had no plans. We let the wood fire go out during the night so I could clean out the ashes. We slept in for a bit this morning.finaly got up and had coffee and cleaned the fireplace and relit it. Few, made me hungry. I remembered that I had some Venison sausage in the freez. Cooked some up along with a couple of eggs and toast and maple syrup. Nice warm fire, full belly, Nap Time! Weather has been the same for last 10 days. Mid teens nights, low to mid 20 days light snow/ freezing rain every day with no sun, and no wind, thus no solar thermo or wind to heat our water or make electricity. O-well, we're supose to be getting a storm tonight and tomarrow. I think it will not amount to much here. Anyway we all caught a little extra shut eye today including the two dogs and cat behind them.
