I have always claimed that I remember riding home on our newly purchased MM GTB, but it was a 1949 model though may have been bought a year or two after production, and I was born in 1947.
The G had a gasoline engine. Next came a G-705, an M-5, and then a GVI, all LPG units.
Last I knew the old GTB was setting at the edge of a field with the field rented out. The owner died decades ago and I have no idea what became of the tractor. I'll probably ask the tenant if he remembers what became of it the next time I see him which should be in May.
None of the tractors had 3 pt. Wheat country and dad didn't care for row crops due to the 19 inch annual rainfall.
