I have a small collection of old agriculture books and my mom found me a copy of this book a few years ago. Lot of good info in there. Back when I was in high school, our library at school had a book about conservation practices. Can't remember the title but was probably written in the 40s or 50s. Had chapters on building terreces, plowing on the contour, planting and even how to open and harvest fields with a corn picker. I almost had that book memorized, don't think anyone had checked it out for about 8 years til I found it.
