There's been times that I've sworn right up and down that I'd never sell another one,but I have.
One big heartbraker was when I found Dads old Oliver 66 in the boneyard. It wasn't any surprise since we had sold it to them because it was so far gone, but seeing it laying there, nothing more than the frame, rear end and one rear axle, sure brought back memories of all the time I spent as a kid sitting on his lap for hours on end on it. I've got his second one here and when I was restoring this one,I really thought about going and trying to buy that one then stripping everything off this one and fixing that one so it would have the right serial number since he had that one a LOT longer. Just seemed like a whole lot of bother for a serial tag though. Oh well. I've got the second one.
