Bright spot in an otherwise stormy day. Severe storms and numerous tornados rolled through here (Missouri) yesterday. While watching the news a reporter showed a picture of one of many devastated houses just north of me and said the man's house was levelled, car was mashed (totalled) and the man survived when he got under his 1934 tractor. It had some debris on it, but looked good! A great story about an old workhorse still helping out his owner. Roads are closed in the area. Only one death due to the storm so far. Gerard

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
