So you are going 240 miles one way.It takes fuel both ways so about 500 miles. How many miles per gallon do you get? However many miles per gallon for 500 miles.Lets just say 15 miles per gallon.or about 35 gallons. That would be around 100 dollars worth of fuel. Then it costs for your time and wear and tear on your truck. Its going to take you 8 hours probably if not more to drive it.However long to load it,boom it down, and whatever.Say you have a tire blow out,you want to make enough to pay for some of that if it happens.Id say 300 dollars, but thats me and I dont know the guy.Maybe since 80 miles is for you,you could knock some off,but still Id say about 250.Id ask him 250 dollars and see if that worked for him. That comes out to about 100 dollars for fuel and 15 dollars an hour for you and a truck. You arent getting rich, thats for sure. Its also 50 cents a mile if thats the way you want to look at it.
