Friend of mine was at a big machine shop sell out a couple years ago. He was buying up the most useless things -- to me (Pallets of Hoses, (Hydraulic) and old hydraulic motors pumps and etc.also on the pallet with the Hyd motors were a bunch of old fire safety lights like in the mines all corroded as aluminum would be, not knowing the condition. took me two trips with a 12' trailer to get it all home. maybe had $250.00 total in buying up this stuff. Since then he did buy a 4300 ford backhoe and replaced all the hoses on it with many more left under tarp , He scrapped the unusable items but not any pumps or motors. forgot to say one pump was a new in box 2 stage. but the junk had it hid. He got most of his money back in just the scrap.
Me If I sell something I have to sell it for Better than half of what I paid for it-- even if I got it for free .
