Glad you made that detailed observation. only an idiot would believe that an engine could run for 5 min without water at an idle. that I have done lots of times just to drive one in the shop, without burning the valves or warping the head,and another to make a post as you just did about it.hahahaha

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
