Times and Remembrance a Kansas Legacy by Bobbie Pray contains a lot of good Kansas photos. She worked for the state historical society and definitely picked out good ones. I'm sure it is available through inter-library loan.
The rabbit drive photo surprised me a little as to how few the number of rabbits there were. Mom's old diaries from the 1930s tell of many drives with over 10,000 killed at each, with around 16,000 being the largest I remember reading of in them.
