I know exactly where you are coming from, but it's not only Deere, at least 30% of the parts that I order from anywhere are wrong, broken or I don't get them when promised. I work on tractors, trucks and all types of equipment for a living. Nothing is more frustrating than to get 4 or 5 pieces of equipment spread out all over the shop and nothing to fix them. The number shufflers behind the parts counter know nothing about mechanical things, just numbers and all they are looking for is quitting time and payday.I have a good friend that has 6 New Holland tractors ,under warrenty. Last month 4 of them were broke down and couldn't get any of them fixed.
