Monday morning quarter backing says that you can freeze any credit card account. That does two things. It prevents any further charges (including yours) from anyone of any kind, and it can help locate who is placing unauthorized charges on the card. When the dispute is resolved, you can have the freeze taken off, have a new account number issued, or close the account. Keep on the, someone will pay it as they would not want to end up in court as you have the case won.
