wife bought a new gps for her car today. another customer advised her not to put our home address in it. instead, put address of your nearest police station instead. say you are at a ball game and someone breaks into your car and steals the gps. they are suprised when they end up at the police station. also I had a delivery driver that was held up at gunpoint in bad part of town a few years ago. they stole his watch, rings, credit cards, ect. they held up his drivers license and told him '' we have your home address and if you call the cops we will pay you a visit. he never reported it to police. I since have never put my correct address on my license.
